How much protein, carbs, fat and fibre adults need
The reference numbers for protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre, sodium and sugar, in grams per kilo where that's how the research states them. Every figure is linked to Health Canada, the WHO or the paper it came from.
What the calorie counters cost in Canada
Every pricing article I could find was in US dollars and half of them were out of date. So I checked the Canadian prices for MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lose It, MacroFactor and PocketChomp myself, and wrote down what the free version of each one actually lets you do.
How many calories should I eat to lose weight?
A straight answer with a worked example: how to find your maintenance calories, how big a deficit actually makes sense, why 1,200 is a floor not a target, and what to do when the scale ignores the math.
